Clare DeNicola brings to the 10 company a passion for helping clients grow their businesses. With more than 25 years of business experience, including eight years as CEO of a technology company, she has a track record of developing and executing creative, results-driven sales strategies, new product and market development, brand initiatives, and customer relations programs.
“Having been a CEO, I know first-hand how to run a business, and the strategic, financial and operational realities facing CEOs,” says DeNicola. “With the 10 company, Valerie and I have created an agency that brings together powerful communications capabilities, combined with a true understanding of how to achieve short- and long-term business results.”
Prior to the 10 company, DeNicola was President and CEO of IVANS, Inc. and a member of the company’s board of directors since March 2004. During her tenure leading IVANS, she transformed the company from an insurance industry network re-seller to become an innovative technology solutions provider for the insurance and healthcare industries, resulting in significant revenue growth and increased shareholder value.
During more than 14 years at IVANS, she gained a deep understanding of the complex business issues related to personal and commercial insurance, the independent agent and broker distribution system, healthcare reform, health information exchanges, electronic health records, and Medicare, Medicaid and commercial payer systems.
In 2010, DeNicola was named one of the 100 Most Powerful People in the Insurance Industry for North America by Insurance Broadcasting and the Insurance Media Association, reserved for the individuals who control or who have the greatest influence on people, capital, intellectual knowledge, technology and other industry resources. In healthcare, she has been an avid supporter of ways technology can advance the entire healthcare experience for doctors, hospitals, payers and patients, and met regularly with analysts and the media to promote these programs.
Before coming to IVANS, she was Vice President at the New York headquarters of Grey Advertising’s worldwide public relations agency, GCI Group. Prior to GCI, she was a marketing manager with Coopers & Lybrand for more than six years.
She is a graduate of Lehigh University and received an MBA from Fordham University.
